Building History Detective: Greenwich Village
Monday, June 8, 2015

In collaboration with the Neighborhood Preservation Center I presented an illustrated lecture on conducting online research with a focus on resources for Greenwich Village buildings. Resources were presented along with hints on how to use them and tips on the pitfalls in relying on the accuracy of online information.  A sample building, 11 West 8th Street, was used to demonstrate what a little online digging could find.

Attendees were provided with a resource sheet, which I created with NPC, highlighting some of the resources discussed.  Click here for a copy of the resource guide.

Along with NPC, this program was presented by the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation and the Village Alliance.
